What does this tool show?
All visitors can see:
- The public IP address detected for this visit
- Internet Service Provider (ISP) and approximate geolocation, when available
- Internet DNS provider and configured security filtering status, when available
- An IP geolocation map based on approximate city-level data
- IPv6 results when available; IPv6 support is currently under construction
Recognized campus and VPN visitors may also see:
- Campus network and Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) assignment
- Network Access Control (NAC) details, when provided by UB network systems
- Wi-Fi connection details — SSID, access point, and signal quality — when available
- Building location map (street-level, where available)
