Run the test
For the cleanest result, pause large downloads, cloud backups and streaming on this device. When possible, test once on Wi-Fi and once on a wired connection.
Wi-Fi signal quality, other users on the same network, VPN routing, device performance and the selected test infrastructure can all affect the result.
Interpreting the result
- Download affects receiving webpages, video and files.
- Upload affects sending files and your outgoing video or audio.
- Latency affects responsiveness for calls, remote desktops and interactive applications.
